Carlton Morris signs new contact

Carlton Morris has signed a new permanent deal with Norwich, keeping the 19-year-old with the club until 2017.

Morris is currently on loan at Hamilton Academical until 1 January, making him the first Canary to go to the Scottish Premier League club since Norwich manager Alex Neil switched coaching roles in January. Morris was a substitute Tuesday night in the Accies’ 3-2 match v Falkirk, with Morris recording a shot on target.

In terms of his playing credentials, he made one Championship appearance for the yellows in a 0-1 loss at home to the eventually relegated Wigan. Morris has also had loans at York and Oxford, as well as playing on the winning FA Youth Cup squad.
