Swansea winger linked with Norwich City

Rumour has it another Nathan could join the attacking ranks in Norwich.

Swansea City attacking midfielder/winger Nathan Dyer could take his belongings east and link with the Canaries, according to the South Wales Evening Post. There was no price set, nor was there any confirmation of the bid.

The 27-year-old would be a strong signing for the newly promoted Canaries, who need a winger with Premier League experience and/or quality. Although he admitted he was out of form for significant spells in 2014-15, Dyer still managed 37 appearances in all competitions—including 32 in the Premier League. Yet he might have had the same problem as Redmond—a lack of scoring. Dyer only scored three goals in the league.

City’s interest in Dyer, while seemingly a decent player, might come off a bit ambitious to the Swans. As early as March manager Garry Monk said Dyer was a part of the club’s plans moving forward.

But interest in the wide man fits the mold City manager Alex Neil is looking for. As the club look for more wide attacking options, Dyer’s name joins a list including Craig Noone and Robbie Brady.

Last week rumours circulated the Canaries were interested in Swansea back Jazz Richards. BBC reports he signed a permanent deal with Fulham Thursday morning.
