In a game that lacked any real quality, Norwich and Bolton Wanderers played out a goalless 0-0 draw at Carrow Road.

The home side dominated the ball and the chances, but couldn’t get the vital goal to give themselves the three points.

James Maddison, Nelson Oliveira and Mortiz Leitner all had opportunities to open the scoring, but none could put the ball past Bolton goalkeeper Ben Alnwick. The Trotters picked up a vital point away from home, as they look to stay in the Championship in the very tight relegation fight.

The result means Norwich are still a long way away from the playoffs, with promotion this season now really an unrealistic prospect. However, it now does mean the Canaries are six games unbeaten since losing at Sheffield United in January.

Here’s how we rated the Norwich team, in what was, in reality, a very very poor game of football against Bolton…
