Our man of the match: Wolves (A)
Norwich City came from behind to snatch a draw in the last minute against league leaders Wolves on Wednesday.
The Canaries were 2-0 down in the first-half but fought back well to earn a deserved point at The Molinuex.
Jamal Lewis saw the ball hit the post and bounce off him for an own goal early on to hand Wolves the lead, shortly after Harrison Reed missed a one-on-one with the keeper at the other end.
N’Doye made it 2-0 to the hosts with a powerful header from a corner not long after the opening goal.
Norwich reacted well and pulled a goal back almost immediately after the restart. Christoph Zimmermann met James Maddison’s free-kick with his head to glance in his first for the club.
Nelson Oliveira then came off the bench to rescue a point as he smashed in the equalising goal from 30-yards in the 93rd minute.
Our man of the match was a hard one to pick. Two players really stood out for Norwich, Mario Vrancic and Christoph Zimmermann.
We’ve gone for… Zimmermann!
Not only did he score his first goal for the club with a superb first-half header, he made an incredible challenge to prevent a goal with his head – whilst he was flat on the floor!
The German defender started the game with a few shaky moments, but recovered to have an immense second-half.
He’s been a revelation this season for Norwich.
