Alex Tettey has revealed that he is in talks to sign a new contract with Norwich City.
Tettey’s current contract with the club is due to expire at the end of the season, making him a free agent.
Speaking to Norwegian outlet TV2, Tettey has claimed that talks are ongoing over a new deal.
I could have gone before, but I’m very well. We are in a dialogue about extending, and we’ll see what it’s all about.
Tettey says that he could have left Norwich, with reported interest from Rosenborg in the January transfer window.
However, Tettey decided to stay and it appears as though he is ready to commit his future to Norwich.
The 31-year-old has been with Norwich since 2012 and amassed over 150 appearances for the club in that time.
Tettey’s midfield partner, Tom Trybull, was handed a new three-and-a-half year contract before the win over Middlesbrough last weekend.
