A number of Tottenham fans have called for their club to sign Norwich defender Max Aarons at the end of the season.
Some Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to ask their team to make a move for Aarons, after his impressive performance against Leicester on Friday.
Aarons recorded his first assist of the season as he whipped a cross in for his fellow full-back Jamal Lewis to smash home a half-volley against Brendan Rodgers’ side. The defender picked the ball up just outside the box and brilliantly beat Ben Chilwell, before delivering his cross into the box for Lewis to score.
He also won a penalty at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in January – after being fouled by Ryan Sessegnon in the box. Tottenham won the game 2-1, with Norwich’s goal coming from that spot-kick as Teemu Pukki converted from 12 yards.
Football Insider have claimed that Tottenham are eyeing up a summer swoop for Aarons, regardless of whether or not Norwich are relegated from the Premier League.
We monitored social media for a week to get the thoughts of Spurs fans and these are desperate for the club to sign him ahead of next season.
