# Arsenal agree personal terms with Norwich target Claude-Maurice

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Norwich City transfer target Alexis Claude-Maurice.

[According to The Mirror,](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-news-live-mohamed-salah-16245759) Arsenal have held talks with the forward and ironed out a potential contract, but are yet to have a bid accepted by Lorient.

The report claims that Arsenal are set to make a third bid for Claude-Maurice, after seeing the first two turned down by the French outfit.

Lorient are said to be looking for a fee in the region of £18m for Claude-Maurice, who is said to be keen on a move to The Emirates.

Claude-Maurice has been[linked](https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2019/norwich-are-interested-in-alexis-claude-maurice/)with a move to Norwich, as Daniel Farke looks to bolster his squad going into the Premier League next season.

However, it appears as though they are missing out on Claude-Maurice, with Arsenal seemingly closing in on the French forward.

Norwich’s only signing of the window so far has been Patrick Roberts on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
