# Norwich target Hayden determined to leave Newcastle

Norwich City transfer target Isaac Hayden has demanded to leave Newcastle this summer.

[According to The Mirror,](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-news-live-liverpool-manchester-15002727) Hayden is desperate to leave Newcastle and wants to move further down south, presumably closer to London – where he is from.

The Canaries have been [touted](https://readnorwich.com/2019/05/08/norwich-linked-with-summer-move-for-isaac-hayden/) with interest in the midfielder, following their promotion to the Premier League this season.

Newcastle are reportedly looking for a fee in the region of £20m for Hayden, which will be well out of Norwich’s budget. However, Stuart Webber could look to snap up Hayden on loan, with the view to a permanent deal if the club stay in the top-flight.

Hayden has made 24 Premier League appearances for Newcastle this season and recently nailed down his place in the starting line-up with a string of impressive performances.

The 24-year-old holding midfielder would provide valuable Premier League experience to Norwich’s squad if they were able to strike a deal this summer.
