# Aston Villa 1-2 Norwich: Four things learned

Norwich City clinched the Championship title on Sunday as they beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park.

The Canaries would have won the title even if they had lost to Villa, as Sheffield United failed to beat Stoke, but the players were not to know that as they produced a solid performance.

Teemu Pukki gave Norwich the lead with his 30th of the season, as he got on the end of Onel Hernandez’s cut-back to guide the ball into the bottom corner.

Jonathan Kodjia dragged Villa level before half-time, though, as he excellent finished a cross from the left to make it 1-1.

Norwich then sealed the win, and the title, with just five minutes left to play as Bosnian midfielder Mario Vrancic picked the ball up on the edge of the box and rifled home a strike with his weak foot.
