# Our man of the match: Blackburn (A)

Norwich City moved back to the top of the Championship table on Saturday as they beat Blackburn 1-0 at Ewood Park.

The Canaries move two points clear of Leeds, who face Aston Villa away on Sunday.

Teemu Pukki scored the only goal of the game as he converted from close range in the 85th minute after Onel Hernandez played a good cross into the box.

There were a number of impressive performers for Norwich across the pitch, with Max Aarons, Jamal Lewis, Mario Vrancic, Teemu Pukki and Alex Tettey impressing.

However, our Norwich man of the match is… Ben Godfrey!

The strong central defender was given a show of faith by Daniel Farke as he started for the third game in succession, leaving captain Grant Hanley on the bench.

He dealt with everything Blackburn had to throw his way at the back and made some crucial interceptions and clearances throughout the game.

Godfrey was also unlucky not score, as he saw two goals ruled out – first for a foul and second for offside, as well as drawing a superb save from the Blackburn goalkeeper.
