# Norwich player ratings: Cardiff (Cup)

Norwich progressed through into the third round of the League Cup on Tuesday night as they beat Cardiff 3-1 away from home.

The Canaries were able to beat Premier League opposition in Wales, as Dennis Srbeny scored his first two goals of the season.

The German forward scored in the 26th and 64th minute, with a rasping strike into the top corner and a well-placed header at the back post.

18-year-old fullback Max Aarons then added a third in the 69th minute as he swivelled in the box and dinked the ball over the goalkeeper for his first senior goal.

Cardiff pulled one back in the 77th minute, but Norwich were able to see the game out.
