Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has revealed the latest team news ahead of the club’s trip to face Barnsley on Tuesday.
The Canaries travel to Oakwell without a win in six games, with five draws and a defeat over the last few weeks.
Farke has revealed they will have to get back to winning ways without Nelson Oliveira and Moritz Leitner.
Both players have been ruled out until after the international break. Oliveira will be out for two weeks with a calf injury, whilst Leitner is set for four weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Speaking to Norwich’s website, Farke said this:
Moritz Leitner got a hit and he overstretched his leg and has a hamstring injury, with blood in the hamstring. The first diagnosis is we’ll have to do without him for four weeks. Hopefully he can return pretty soon after the international break.
We’ll have to do without Nelson Oliveira for two weeks because he has problems with his calf. It’s a strain, but there’s no blood in the calf. We’ll have to do without him for the next two games.
Alex Tettey, Christoph Zimmermann and Harrison Reed are all also doubts for Norwich ahead of tonight’s game.
Louis Thompson, Matt Jarvis and Tom Trybull remain long-term absentees.
