Norwich player ratings: Hull City (A)
In a dramatic game, Norwich lost 4-3 to Hull City in a game with four penalties.
The referee was certainly involved, as he handed out four penalties, the first time in the top four tiers of English football since October 2014 in a game between Spurs and Manchester City.
Jackson Irvine gave Hull the lead early on,slotting home to give the Tigers an early lead.
However it wouldn’t last long, with James Maddison slotting home a penalty on 18 minutes before quickly adding a second just after.
Maddison would complete his 21 minute hat-trick just before half time, slotting home another penalty to give Norwich a 3-1 lead. However, Abel Hernandez would score a penalty not long after, to make it 3-2 going into half time.
It would all come crashing down for the Canaries after that. Hull were awarded another penalty for a questionable reason not long after half time. Hernandez again slotted home, levelling the match.
Harry Wilson would win it for Hull, slotting home to crush the Canaries hopes of three points.
