Norwich City were held to a fifth draw in succession as they failed to score against Nottingham Forest in a 0-0 draw.
This follows on from the club’s 0-0 draw at home to Bolton in their last game, with one goal in three games at Carrow Road.
Norwich struggled to create any clear-cut chances in the game. The closest they came to scoring was when Josh Murphy’s header from a corner was tipped away by the Forest ‘keeper.
Forest had a number of good chances to open the scoring in the first-half but failed to test Angus Gunn’s goal, as they fired wide on several occasions.
Nelson Oliveira was left out of the matchday squad, and Daniel Farke has since confirmed that he did not feel the striker was training at 100%.
Norwich remain firmly in midtable, with a play-off push looking highly unlikely between now and the end of the season.
Here is how we rated the Canaries…
Angus Gunn: 6
Made one save, was rarely troubled. Comfortable game.
Harrison Reed: 5
Got caught out with balls over the top and lacked quality going forward.
Grant Hanley: 6
Made some important tackles, but also gave the ball away cheaply too often and gifted Forest chances.
Timm Klose: 5
Was taken out of the game too easily and looked shaky all night.
Jamal Lewis: 6
Solid but little more. Defended well enough, lacked quality in the final third.
Alex Tettey: 4
Gave away cheap fouls, offered no protection for the defence and was awful on the ball.
Moritz Leitner: 7
Kept the ball well and created good opportunities going forward.
Onel Hernandez: 6
Worked hard on the right and won the ball back several times. His delivery left a lot to be desired.
James Maddison: 6
Struggled to get into the game at times and missed a great chance in the second half.
Josh Murphy: 5
Showed some good pace at times, but wastes too many chances when he shoots from the car park instead of passing to a teammate…
Dennis Srbeny: 5
Was given no service at all, which did not help, and struggled to impose himself on the game.
