Norwich player ratings: Middlesbrough (H)
Norwich City were impressive once again as they beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at Carrow Road on Saturday.
The Canaries won 1-0 away at Brentford last weekend and followed it up with another clean sheet and three points against Tony Pulis’ Middlesbrough.
Middlesbrough had to play the match with ten men for the majority of the game after Rudy Gestede was shown a straight red for a challenge on Grant Hanley.
The forward had already been booked for kicking Alex Tettey in the head, accidentally, but was shown a straight red for a two-footed lunge on City defender Hanley.
It was announced before kick-off that Tom Trybull had signed a new contract with the club, and the German celebrated that news with a sublime goal from distance to hand City the lead.
Trybull smashed the ball into the top corner from 25-yards to secure the three points.
