Tottenham eye Maddison as Dembele replacement
Tottenham are eyeing Norwich midfielder James Maddison as a potential replacement for Moussa Dembele.
According to The Evening Standard, Maddison is being touted as the man to take Dembele’s spot in the Tottenham side.
Dembele turns 31 in the summer and Tottenham are beginning to think about who could replace him at the club.
The report claims that Maddison is one of the names under considering by Tottenham.
Maddison has been in terrific form for Norwich in the Championship this season, with nine goals and eight assists in all competitions.
His most recent goal came last weekend against Brentford, as he nutmegged an opponent before sending a strike into the top corner from 25-yards.
Maddison broke into the Norwich team at the start of the season, after a loan spell with Aberdeen last year.
The 21-year-old is also thought to be attracting interest from elsewhere in the Premier League. Manchester City, West Ham, Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester have all been linked.
