# Bristol City 0-1 Norwich: Four things learned

Norwich City produced a  superb 1-0 win away at Bristol City on Saturday to move within six points of the play-off places.

The Canaries are now five games unbeaten in all competitions, with a trip to Chelsea coming up in midweek.

James Maddison scored with 11 minutes to go to seal the win for Norwich, who deserved the three points.

The away side had all the clear-cut chances in the match, with Nelson Oliveira, Josh Murphy and Grant Hanley all coming close.

Murphy almost opened the scoring in the first-half, albeit for a clearance off the line from a Bristol City defender.

Angus Gunn did, however, make an excellent stop in injury time to preserve the clean sheet and the three points.

Maddison now has eight goals and eight assists in all competitions for Norwich this season, as he continues to flourish under Daniel Farke.

Here are four things we learned from Norwich’s win over Bristol City…
