Phillips set for Cambridge move
Norwich City midfielder Adam Phillips is set to sign for League Two side Cambridge.
According to the Pink’Un, Phillips is close to signing for Cambridge on loan until the end of the season.
Phillips will join a host of Norwich youngsters who are currently out on loan. Carlton Morris and Ben Godfrey are impressing in their loan stint at Shrewsbury.
The 19-year-old joined Norwich on a free transfer from Liverpool in the summer and has already been made captain of the under-23 side.
On top of that, Phillips has been on the bench twice for the first-team this season, but is yet to make his senior debut.
Cambridge are 12th in League Two and will be hoping Phillips can come in to strengthen their play-off push.
The midfielder needs senior first-team football under his belt and Daniel Farke will be hoping he gains invaluable experience playing for Cambridge.
