# Norwich v Derby: Last time out

Norwich City play Derby County in the Championship at Carrow Road this weekend.

The Canaries play host to Derby, as they look to extend their unbeaten run in the Championship to nine games.

The club’s last met in January earlier this year – last season. So what happened in the last clash at Carrow Road between the two sides?

It took Norwich 15 minutes to open the scoring. Nelson Oliveira drilled home a low strike from distance to hand Norwich the lead.

Former Canaries midfielder Jacob Butterfield then gave Derby a mountain to climb as he was sent off in the 60th minute.

Butterfield was given his marching orders after a studs up slide tackle on Wes Hoolahan, which resulted in the Irishman losing a shinpad in the process.

Oliveira then doubled his tally in the 78th minute as he headed into the bottom corner from six-yards out.

The Portuguese striker then completed his hat-trick two minutes later. Timm Klose knocked the ball down and Oliveira smashed in a half-volley from 12-yards out.

Norwich will be hoping for a similar performance this weekend.
