# Our man of the match: Hull (H)

Norwich City stretched their unbeaten run to eight games as they held Hull to a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road on Saturday.

Nelson Oliveira scored in the 96th minute to secure a draw for Norwich, who battled hard for a point.

Hull defended their lead well, until the goal, following their 29th minute goal from Nouha Dicko.

The striker broke the offside trap before slotting past Angus Gunn with ease.

David Meyler was sent off for Hull midway through the second half. The Irish midfielder clocked up two bookings and was given his marching orders, putting Hull on the defensive.

Norwich pushed and pushed but were continually thwarted by Hull’s defence, with Michael Dawson making a superb block from Timm Klose’s goalbound strike.

The Canaries did eventually get their goal. Cameron Jerome picked the ball up on the left and found Oliveira, who was able to backheel the ball into the back of the net.

Picking a man of the match has been hard, but the player who has been picked only played 16 minutes.

Our Norwich man of the match against Hull is… Nelson Oliveira!

Norwich looked poor going forward for most of the game and struggled to really test Hull, until Oliveira came on and won a point.

Without Oliveira, Norwich would have lost – which is worthy of him winning man of the match.
