Norwich City Sporting Director Stuart Webber has been pictured with Union Berlin defender Toni Leistner’s agent in Germany.

According to Berlin Sports, Webber has been seen at a Union Berlin game in the stands with Brank Panic – Leistner’s consultant.

The report claims that Norwich are keen on signing the central defender this summer, with a bid of €3.5m having been lodged earlier this summer.

That offer was rejected, but with Webber clearly in talks with his agent at the game, potentially discussing a deal to sign the defender.

Leistner has one year left on his current deal with Berlin, which could also tempt them in to selling the defender.

He is 26-years-old and has been with Berlin since 2014, racking up 74 league appearances in that time.

Norwich have already made nine summer signings, with Marco Stiepermann from Bochum being the latest addition last week.

The Canaries host Sunderland at Carrow Road on Sunday.
