# Our man of the match: Cobh Ramblers (A)

Norwich City kicked off their preparations for the 2017/18 season with a win tonight as they beat Cobh Ramblers.

The Canaries travelled to Ireland for a training camp this week, culminating in the clash with the Ramblers on Wednesday night.

It was Daniel Farke’s first game in charge of the Canaries as they ran out 5-0 winners on the night.

The few Norwich fans who made the journey to Ireland were able to see new signings Mario Vrancic, Christoph Zimmerman and Marley Watkins in action for the first time.

Vrancic and Watkins played a half each but Zimmerman was on for the full 90.

We usually pick a man of the match for the whole game but due to a host of changes at half-time we have picked one for each half.

Our first half man of the match was new arrival Mario Vrancic. The Bosnian international picked up a goal and an assist during his first 45 minutes in a Norwich shirt.

The midfielder put in a solid display, according to supporters at the ground, and looks to have had a promising debut.

Our second half man of the match goes to fan favourite Alex Pritchard.

Norwich scored once in the second half and it came from a long-range Pritchard strike.

He showed at the back end of last season what he was capable of and he looks to be starting pre-season where he left off.
