# Twitter reactions to Gunn signing

Norwich City announced the signing of Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn earlier this week, on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old returns to his place of birth to help Norwich back to the Premier League in the 2017/8 season, and live up to his father’s name.

The deal was met with a lot of positive response, here is how the Norwich faithful reacted on Twitter…

> Twitter: Angus Gunn on loan is a class move, someone who wants game time and is very highly rated as well being a city lad! (@David\_ncfc11)

> Twitter: People need to note Angus Gunn is loved by Pep he sees the quality in him. #ncfc (@BarryPJeffo)

> Twitter: Fantastic news about Angus Gunn. Don’t think Man City have let him out on loan just to be a back up keeper though!!! ![?](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/2.2.1/svg/1f609.svg) #JustSaying #NCFC (@pearciencfc)

> Twitter: Bit late on this one, but Angus Gunn is a great signing in our predicament #ncfc (@sirjezmond)

> Twitter: How is this a Great signing? Only see Gunn & Man City benefiting from this because he won’t be back next year if he does a decent job #ncfc (@tommykerrison)

> Twitter: Angus Gunn a terrific, exciting signing. And good to see one of the country’s top clubs trusting one of their prize youngsters with us (@dan\_brigham)

> Twitter: Really happy with signing of Gunn, hopefully will be an option to sign at the end of the season too. #NCFC (@DanielEmeryRS)
