# Crystal Palace lodge bid for Norwich winger

Crystal Palace have placed a £7m bid for Norwich City winger Robbie Brady, according to [the Daily Mail.](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4081726/Crystal-Palace-launch-7m-bid-Norwich-left-Robbie-Brady.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490)

The report claims that Palace have submitted a £7m move for Brady with the transfer window opening yesterday.

The bid is expected to be rejected by Norwich, though. The Canaries are thought to want £12m for Brady.

Brady signed for Norwich in the summer of 2015 for a fee believed to be £7m from Hull. This means that the club are highly unlikely to sell for anything less than that after some good performances for the club in the past year-and-a-half.

The Irishman has three goals and three assists in the Championship this season but was sent off against Brentford on Saturday – however controversially.

Palace manager Sam Allardyce is keen on signing a left-back this window and sees Brady as the perfect man to come in – despite his natural position being on the left-wing.
