# Our man of the match: Brentford (A)

Norwich City retained their place in 12th tonight after drawing 0-0 with Brentford at Griffin Park.

It was a closely fought game between the two sides, with little quality shining through at all during the match.

Norwich had the better of the chances but Cameron Jerome missed a plethora of glorious opportunities to ruin any chance of the away side picking up all three points.

There was a moment for the referee to forget as well as Norwich winger Robbie Brady was bizarrely sent off for a challenge on Ryan Woods late in the second half.

Brady and Woods both went for a sliding 50/50 tackle – both catching each other – and the referee decided to send Brady off.

However, the red card should be no excuse – it was a poor performance from City, who were lucky that Brentford were even worse on the day. A draw was perhaps fair.

Picking a man of the match for Norwich was surprisingly easy. Timm Klose.

My word… how was this man on the bench for so long whilst Sebastien Bassong made mistakes?

Klose was immense amongst a back three. The towering Swiss won countless headers and a number of excellent last-ditch blocks and tackles.

Incredible display from the central defender. Although, a special mention to Ryan Bennett. Bennett made a couple of top tackles, including a goal-saving one on Brentford striker Scott Hogan.
