# Our man of the match: Burton Albion (H)

Norwich City have moved to the top of the Sky Bet Championship today with a 3-1 win against newly promoted Burton Albion at Carrow Road.

Burton Albion had the better of the opening exchanges, but it was Norwich who took the lead. Martin Olsson fired home inside the box in the 29th minute.

Burton, however, started the second half with a bang. Within a minute of the second half kicking off, Lucas Akins scored for Burton after a scramble in the box.

The away side were buzzing, but were stung as Jacob Murphy struck off the post within a minute of Burton scoring their goal to restore Norwich’s lead.

Robbie Brady then missed a penalty for Norwich in the 77th minute, following Tom Flanagan’s handball in the box – for which he was sent off.

Ivo Pinto wrapped up the scoring in the 89th minute with his first ever professional goal for the 26-year-old.

It’s been very hard to decide a man of the match for Norwich, but I have gone for Ivo Pinto as my man of the match.

The right-back was up and down the pitch all game, with his energy key to unlocking the Burton defence as well as keeping the Burton attackers away from Michael McGovern.

His first ever senior goal of his career and his first Read Norwich man of the match award for the season – what a day for Pinto!
