# How do you feel about Naismith after deadline day?

Many things transpired on deadline day for Norwich… although everything was based around outgoings…

One of the things that failed to materialise was an exit for Steven Naismith. He was heavily linked with a move to Sunderland, with his ex-Everton manager David Moyes wanting to bring him back to the Premier League.

However, the move collapsed after Naismith [rejected](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3767694/Steven-Naismith-s-proposed-Sunderland-Norwich-player-fails-agree-personal-terms.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490) Sunderland’s offer in order to stay with Norwich in the Championship. This could have been down to money, or it could have been common sense coming into place.

Naismith may think Norwich have more of a chance of being in the Premier League come this time next year than Sunderland, with one side battling relegation to the Championship and the other fighting to go up to the top-flight.

Norwich fans became agitated after [Sky Sports, via Sunderland Echo,](https://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/football/sunderland-afc/norwich-city-and-scotland-forward-confirms-sunderland-talks-1-8098374) claimed that Naismith openly spoke about the move. This led to an outrage, with many feeling that Naismith was trying to push for a move.

However, his refusal over a move to Sunderland clearly proves that this was far from the case and that he is happy to stay at Norwich – as he has stated previously.

So, are you angry with Naismith, or will you back him?
