# Read Norwich writers predictions: 2016/17

Norwich City are all set to kick off their Championship campaign tomorrow afternoon as they travel away to face Blackburn at Ewood Park.

Norwich were relegated from the Premier League last season. They finished 19th in the top-flight, joining Aston Villa and Newcastle in dropping down into the second tier.

It was a bitterly disappointing season, with negativity surrounding it every week. But, now it is time for some positivity as Norwich look to gain promotion from the Championship for the second time in two years.

Norwich were promoted from the Championship in the 2014/15 season, winning in the Play-Off Final. Norwich finished 3rd in the Championship that season, beating Ipswich in the semi-final and then Middlesbrough 2-0 in the final.

However, they are now going to have to soldier on through another 46-game Championship season in the hope of gaining promotion once again.
