# Our man of the match: Hannover (friendly)

Norwich City finished their pre-season today with a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Bundesliga.2 side Hannover.

Cameron Jerome missed a gilt-edged chance in the opening seconds of the match when he blazed over the bar from close range until no pressure from the defence.

Norwich found themselves 2-0 down inside 12 minutes as Hannover tore Norwich to shreds going forward. Steven Whittaker was caught out of position twice and the German side capitalised both times.

Hannover added a third just after half-time when Cameron Jerome’s shocking defending allowed the Hannover midfielder to cut inside and fire past John Ruddy.

There were, however, some good performers for Norwich, with my man of the match going to the scorer of both goals – Wes Hoolahan.

Wes just had to be the man of the match. He was superb throughout the match and scored two fantastic goals.

Timm Klose was also up there, with a sturdy performance at the heart of the defence for the Canaries.
