# Opposition preview: Chelsea

Saturday sees Norwich take on a struggling Chelsea side at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho under tremendous pressure, with his side languishing in 16th place in the table.

Ahead of the game, we spoke to Ryan Darby of [Read Chelsea](https://readchelsea.com/).

### Chelsea have obviously been in a rough patch of late, do you think that it will have an effect on the game?

Yes and no. Our performances have been good over the last couple of games, we’ve just lacked a cutting edge. If we can get the first goal, the fans will be behind the team and it should be a routine result. However, if Norwich start well or even grab the first goal, it could be a tricky afternoon.

### Is Mourinho the man to take Chelsea forward?

I believe he deserves the chance. He says he does not want to make transfers in January, but the team we have now needs developing and needs some big changes. He deserves the chance to put his stamp on the team over the course of the next two transfer windows. If he does buy right, our squad could be very interesting.

### Who do you fear the most in Norwich’s team?

Nathan Redmond, the winger is one of the brighter talents in the England youth set-up and it is great to see him back in the Premier League. Given the chance, he can hurt any team.

### Who’s Chelsea’s main threat?

Willian, the man is on fire at the moment. It feels like every time he shoots, he scores. He has scored some unbelievable free-kicks as well this season. He is so underrated by opposing fans, who would always claim he doesn’t score enough goals. Last season, he didn’t. He is adding goals to his game is showing his true ability.

### Do Chelsea have any hidden gems to look out for?

Kenedy is a real rough diamond. He looks like he can be a real star in the future judging by what we have seen so far this season. He and Ruben Loftus-Cheek look like they’ll be two big players in the future years. Neither are getting much game-time at the moment, but hopefully that improves.

### How do you think the game will pan out?

Chelsea’s performances have improved over recent games and I expect that to continue. A home victory is exactly what we need and the fans deserve it because they’ve been great over recent weeks.

### and Score predictions?

2-0 Chelsea
