# Norwich chasing Serie A defender

Norwich City are thought to have [entered](https://www.clubcall.com/norwich-city/city-linked-to-polish-powerhouse-1788991.html?) the race for Polish international defender Kamil Glik.

The 6ft3 Torino centre back has been linked with a move to the Premier League club ahead of the January transfer window; with it well-known that Norwich need and want a central defender during the window.

The 27-year-old has been in good form for Poland and Torino and has attracted interest from a few different clubs across Europe, with Bundesliga side Stuttgart being named as one of them.

His Torino contract doesn’t end until the summer of 2017 but Alex Neil will be hoping he can lure the defender with a promise of regular Premier League football; a prospect that would appeal many players across the world.

It was well documented, by Alex Neil himself, that they club tried desperately to bring in a central defender in the summer. However, they failed to do so, much to the annoyance of the Norwich fans.

Neil is going to look to set that right in January, is Glik the defender that Norwich are in need of?
