# Evans refuses to rule out Grabban signing

Leeds United boss Steve Evans has [refused to rule out](https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-utd/evans-refuses-to-rule-out-lewis-grabban-move-1-7571715?) the possibility of signing Norwich City striker Lewis Grabban when the January transfer window opens in a month-and-a-half.

The Championship side has been linked with a double swoop for Norwich striking duo Kyle Lafferty and Lewis Grabban for when the winter window comes around.

Neither player has settled themselves in the side this season at Norwich and could both be forced out the door in January as Alex Neil looks to bring other players into the club.

Norwich were linked with a move for Dwight Gayle recently, which may be an indicator as to the future of Grabban/Lafferty. Lewis Grabban has been given a few chances this season but has failed to impress anyone, bringing about a lot of criticism from fans for his poor finishing.

However, he was good in the Championship for Norwich and is proven at that level; he could be a very good signing for Steve Evans and this is what he said when asked about the signing the pair:

> You never have enough outstanding strikers. The players you’ve just mentioned, Kyle Lafferty and Lewis Grabban, who I managed at Rotherham, these players are outstanding strikers.

> We’ve got some decent players here. The boy Antenucci was sat on the bench tonight and he’s a goalscorer.
