# Thompson linked with Blackburn switch

Norwich City midfielder, currently on loan at Swindon, Louis Thompson has been [linked](https://www.flicwiltshire.com/louis-could-be-on-his-way-to-blackburn-once-town-stint-comes-to-an-end/) with a loan move to Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

The young central midfielder was signed last summer from Swindon and immediately loaned back to the League One side last season and this season. However the loan deal he is currently contracted to at Swindon ends next month and now he has been linked with a step up to the Championship.

He is very highly thought of at Norwich and impressed in pre-season, with some fans calling for him to be given a chance in the first team. He didn’t. Yet, he may now get the chance to test himself at a higher level in the second tier of English football with managerless Blackburn, who recently sacked Garry Bowyer as their manager.

Do you think that Louis Thompson will ever make it at Norwich and is a move to Blackburn right for him?
