# Andre Wisdom: Liverpool is where my future lies

Norwich City loanee Andre Wisdom has told his current club to forget about signing him permanently after his loan spell with the club.

He spoke to the [Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/) about his future with the Canaries and his intentions for the rest of his career. He talked about his previous loan spells at Derby County and West Brom and his Premier League debut versus his current team, Norwich.

“I made my Premier League debut for Liverpool at Norwich so I was happy to come here on loan and hopefully achieve some success.”

He then went from that to talking about previous loan spells away from Anfield.

“I have also had loan spells at Derby and West Brom because I know that going out on loan is a big part of the game now.”

“I am still young and I am still learning. But the Premier League is very tough so these loans can only help to make me a better player.”

“Whatever happens I still see my future as being at Liverpool. But you have to prove yourself at this level and hopefully I can do that here.”

In my opinion. This could be considered disrespectful to Norwich City. Considering that he has not even played a competitive match for the Canaries yet. For him to state fairly emphatically that he did not want to stay in Norwich for more than a year, could be considered arrogant and certainly will not endear him to the Norwich faithful.

The defender clearly has a lot of confidence in his own ability and sees himself as having a big future in the game. Just, not with Norwich City. With Liverpool.

Wisdom has been at Liverpool since he was 14 and has a clear fondness of the club. As a result his intention remains to break into the first team.

**What do you think of Andre Wisdom’s choice to rule out a permanent move to Norfolk before even playing a game for the club?**
