Our man of the match: Burton Albion (A)
Norwich’s miserable run of form continued at the Pirelli Stadium, as the Canaries played out a goalless draw with Burton Albion.
Under pressure Daniel Farke now only has two wins in his last thirteen games, as Norwich’s promotion hopes slowly slip away from them. The German will be hoping to get more fans back on side with a victory over Millwall on New Years Day.
In terms of the Burton game, Norwich struggled to fashion any sort of chance throughout the game. Mario Vrancic forced a save from veteran Stephen Bywater, but that was really the best of the bunch.
The result leaves Norwich with the third worst goal record in the league, only notching 24 so far this term. This being a complete reversal from last season, where Norwich led the charts at the end of the season.
Picking a man of the match from a poor performance is hard. However, we’re going to give it to Tom Trybull, who runs his heart out every game. Something that can’t be said for a few Norwich players of late…
