Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has confirmed that Marley Watkins will miss the club’s trip to face Sunderland on Tuesday night.
The Canaries face Sunderland at The Stadium of Light, but Watkins will be watching on from home.
Watkins has been struggling with illness of late, and has only recently returned to light training, Farke revealed at his pre-Sunderland press conference.

Alongside Watkins, Onel Hernandez, Tom Trybull and Marco Stiepermann are all sidelined.

Watkins joined Norwich on a free transfer from Barnsley last summer, but has failed to make an impact.
He is yet to score in the Championship, and has struggled to make his way into Farke’s team on a regular basis.
