Norwich leading Nolan chase
Norwich City are leading the race to sign Shrewsbury Town midfielder Jon Nolan this summer.
According to The Daily Mirror, via HITC, Norwich are ahead of the pack in their hunt for Nolan.
Sheffield United and Leeds are both said to be interested in Nolan, but Norwich are the favourites at this point in time.
The 25-year-old has impressed for Shrewsbury in League One this season and is attracting interest from the Championship, catching the eye of those at Norwich.
The Canaries’ current season appears to be all but over, with planning for summer recruitment clearly underway.
Shrewsbury currently have two players on loan from Norwich, Ben Godfrey and Carlton Morris, which could help in the club’s talks to sign Nolan.
Godfrey is expected to be in first-team contention for Norwich next season, whilst Morris could be used as a makeweight in a deal for Nolan in the summer window.
