Farke positive over Tettey injury
Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke is hopeful of Alex Tettey’s injury not being too bad.
Tettey was stretchered off injured in the second half of Tuesday’s draw with Barnsley, after James Husband inadvertently stamped on his foot.
Farke says that there was a lot of bleeding around Tettey’s foot, but that the injury does not look too bad.
The club are still awaiting scans and test results before there can be a definitive return date for the holding midfielder.
Speaking to Norwich’s website after the game, Farke said this:
There was blood from his foot and we were really worried, but the first diagnosis is that it looked worse than it was.
They stopped the bleeding, but he feels some pain. It doesn’t look like it’s too bad, but we’ll have to see and hope it’s ok.
Josh Murphy equalised for Norwich in the second-half after Oliver McBurnie put Barnsley ahead just before half-time.
