Klose interested in signing new Norwich deal
Norwich City defender Timm Klose says that he would be open to the idea of signing a new contract with the club.
Speaking ahead of Norwich’s clash with Bolton at Carrow Road on Saturday, Klose says that he is enjoying life with the Canaries and is willing to discuss a new deal in the summer.
Klose’s current contract expires at the end of next season. This means it is likely that he would be sold if he refuses to sign an extended contract.
The Swiss international recently scored a 94th minute equaliser against Ipswich in the local derby, followed by captaining the side to a 2-2 draw with league leaders Wolves.
Speaking to The Pink’Un, Klose said this:
I haven’t talked to the club yet. We had a little chat last summer in pre-season. From now until the end of this season I don’t know what is going to happen.
I will listen to the club if they want to talk to me. If they don’t want to talk to me I will listen to something else. That is football, that is the business.
I’m happy at the moment. I’m really feeling confident and having a lot of fun on the pitch with the lads. That’s the most important thing for me and my private life because If I am happy, they are happy, and vice versa, which is great for me at the moment.
