Norwich 1-2 Sheffield United: Four things we learned
Norwich City 2-1 to Sheffield United on Saturday at Carrow Road, ending a good run of form.
The Canaries came into the game off the back of taking Chelsea to penalties in the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge, but failed to see off a Sheffield United side at Carrow Road.
The away side took the lead after five minutes, when James Wilson beat Tettey in the box and fired low past Angus Gunn, who could have perhaps done better.
A massive error from Alex Tettey ultimately cost Norwich the game, with his dreadful back pass finding Clayton Donaldson, who scored with ease.
Ivo Pinto pulled a goal back for Norwich with 20 minutes to play, as he headed in a Mario Vrancic corner.
Sheffield United were well organised and defended well, and were the better side, with Norwich’s midfield leaving a lot to be desired.
