Huddersfield have confirmed the signing of midfielder Alex Pritchard from Norwich City.

Pritchard has signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Huddersfield and could make his debut for the club next week.

Huddersfield had an offer in the region of £12m accepted for Pritchard and completed his medical on Thursday.

Pritchard was keen on the move and is eager to test himself in the Premier League this season.

Since returning from injury in December, Pritchard scored once and assisted two in the Championship.

The attacking midfielder joined the club for £8.5m from Tottenham in the summer of 2016, with Norwich collecting a tidy profit on their investment.

His most memorable performance came against Reading at Carrow Road last season. He scored two excellent goals in a 7-1 victory.
