Martin keen on making Rangers move
Norwich City defender Russell Martin is interested in making a move to Rangers this month.
According to The Eastern Daily Press, Martin is keen on switching Norwich for Glasgow before the end of the month.
Martin has been told that he will not play for Norwich with head coach Daniel Farke in charge.
Farke clearly values other central defenders at the club over Martin, who has not made a senior appearance for the club since August.
Martin’s last Championship appearance came in Norwich’s 4-0 drubbing away to Millwall at the end of August, with a few matches as a unused substitute since then.
He’s not even making the bench for Norwich now and the report claims that Martin has been told he will not play for the club with Farke in charge.
Timm Klose and Grant Hanley appear to be Norwich’s preferred centre-back partnership, with Christoph Zimmermann as cover.
Sean Raggett has now also returned from his loan at Lincoln, seemingly pushing Martin further down the pecking order.
