Premier League clubs interested in youngster Godfrey
Norwich City youngster Ben Godfrey is attracting interest from Premier League clubs West Bromwich Albion, Swansea and Crystal Palace, according to HITC.
Godfrey is impressing whilst on loan at Shrewsbury, who currently sit second in the League One table.
The midfielder has made 19 appearances for the Salops in all competitions this season, helping them launch an unlikely promotion bid.
His performances have seen interest from Palace, Albion and Swansea, who have all started to track the 19-year-old. Godfrey has also impressed England U-20s manager Paul Simpson, who may be calling up the youngster for his next international squad.
Godfrey’s loan expires in January, where he will then return to the main Norwich squad. The youngster made his first-team debut for Norwich in a 6-1 EFL cup win over Coventry last season, where he also scored his first goal for the Canaries.
The 19-year-old signed for Norwich in January 2016, signing from non-league York City.
