Our man of the match: Sheffield Wednesday (H)
Norwich beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 at Carrow Road on Saturday to end a run of nine games without a win.
The Canaries found their goalscoring touch for the televised Championship encounter, scoring all three goals in the second half.
It was the visitors, however, who took the lead in the game. Jordan Rhodes headed home from close range after Norwich were caught napping from a throw-in.
Alex Pritchard, on his first start of the season, turned on the accelerator in the second half to burst through the Wednesday defence, with Westwood palming his effort into the path of James Maddison to bundle the ball in.
Maddison then turned provider as his corner was superbly met by Timm Klose, who powered in a header to make it 2-1 – his second of the season.
The game was wrapped up in injury time as Nelson Oliveira scored from the spot after Harrison Reed was upended.
There were plenty of contenders for man of the match, with James Maddison, Mario Vrancic, Nelson Oliveira, Alex Pritchard and Grant Hanley all coming close.
However, our Norwich man of the match against Sheffield Wednesday is… Timm Klose!
The Swiss central defender scored his second goal of the season and defended incredibly in the second-half to secure the victory.
Klose was on the end of every ball into the box to defend Norwich’s lead and was always looking to play on the front foot and drive out of defence with the ball.
His header was superb, as was the celebration. Deserved winner.
