Norwich have been boosted by the return of defender Timm Klose, who is back in contention for Friday night’s game against Cardiff City, the club have confirmed.
The defender was replaced at half-time in the Canaries 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, an injury which kept the Swiss international out of the draw at home to Preston. Klose was also sidelined at the beginning of the season, missing the club’s first seven fixtures.
However, Klose, 29, has recovered from the hip injury which kept him out, manager Daniel Farke confirmed in his pre-match press conference and will travel with the squad to Cardiff.
Timm is back. He trained in the last two sessions with us and he hasn’t been out for too long so he’ll be available for tomorrow.
The news will come as a welcome boost to Farke, who is looking to gain the sides first win in seven games when they face high-flying Cardiff, where a win will lift them into the top half of the table, ahead of Saturday’s fixtures.
