Norwich City stretched their winless run to seven games on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Preston at Carrow Road.

Josh Murphy, however, missed a glorious chance to open the scoring. He rounded the goalkeeper before hesitating and seeing his shot blocked by a defender.

Preston found their equaliser in the second-half when Norwich’s zonal marking was left exposed from a corner and the free man in the box tapped home from close range.
