Nottingham Forest 1-0 Norwich: Four things learned
Norwich City extended their winless run to six games as they lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night in the Championship.
A second-half goal from ex-Ipswich striker Daryl Murphy was enough to secure the three points for the home side and send Norwich further from where they want to be.
The Canaries are now 15th in the Championship table and six points off the play-offs, with no signs of improvement in recent performances.
Daniel Farke’s men have now lost five of their last six matches in all competitions, four of the last five in the league.
Despite losing, Norwich did play good football at times against Forest but were lacking quality in the final third as they failed to create a clear-cut chance in the match.
Nelson Oliveira was feeding off scraps for the whole match, with the Portuguese striker clearly still working his way back to full fitness.
