Norwich City lost their fourth game in-a-row at the weekend as they were beaten 2-1 by Bolton.

The Canaries travelled to Bolton having won their last four games on the road, but were left frustrated by their poor finishing.

Daniel Farke’s men dominated the game, failing to make their chances count before being hit by two goals in five minutes by Bolton.

Cameron Jerome missed a gilt-edged chance to take the lead when he dragged wide from 12-yards out in acres of space.

Gary Madine then opened the scoring for Bolton as he diverted a low cross into the box into the bottom corner.

Minutes later and on-loan Newcastle striker Adam Armstrong bent a shot into the top corner from the edge of the box to double their advantage.

Josh Murphy came off the bench and pulled a goal back late on, although it was not enough to secure any points.

Picking a man of the match for Norwich has been hard, with little credit being due to the side.

But our Norwich man of the match against Bolton is… James Maddison!

The City midfielder may not have been at his best, but he still looked a class above the rest of the players in the Norwich team.

He was trying to create all game and looked good on the ball when in possession.

Maddison has been in great form this season and it looks set to continue.
