Norwich were dealt a cruel blow on Tuesday night as Arsenal beat them to a place in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup.

The Canaries travelled to the Emirates in the hope of causing a huge upset against the Premier League side, and were backed by a tremendous away following.

Josh Murphy gave Norwich a shock lead in the first half, before 18-year-old Edward Nketiah netted an equaliser late on during his senior debut.

The game was taken to extra time, and within six minutes of the game restarting, Nketiah was there again to deal a decisive blow to Norwich, and send them packing with nothing to show for their efforts.

It was a valiant display from Daniel Farke’s men, and they are sure to take great pride from the performance.
