Four things we learned in September
Norwich City enjoyed a superb September as they conceded two goals and went seven games unbeaten.
The Canaries picked up five wins and two draws across the month, including three away wins in-a-row.
Norwich also broke a club-record as they went five league games in succession without conceding a goal – the previous record was four.
The month saw wins against Birmingham, Sheffield United, Brentford, Middlesbrough and Reading, with draws against Bristol City and Burton Albion.
This was after a poor August, which saw heavy defeats to Aston Villa, Millwall and Sunderland.
Timm Klose returned to the Norwich side at the start of the month and played in every game during September, winning our player of the month award for the month.
Klose and Zimmermann were excellent at the back, helping Norwich to five clean sheets in seven games in all competitions.
